Methodology: Process

METHODOLOGY Digital Journalism Process: Following the success of my previous project. I want to raise the bar. Since we are able to choose from whoever we like in the course. I have decided to join forces with two of my friends that have similar interests and good work ethic, Daniel Jupe and Denis Miculas. They are heavily invested in photography and have the equipment necessary to create some really high end videos and images. I myself have a camera, tripod and GoPro with many attachments so we plan to encorporate it somewhere. As it is a video we're looking to make something cinematic, appealing and impressive. We don't have much experience in this field but we know some basic stuff and we will let our creativity take a hold and see what we come up with. As we look as the topic available to us, nothing is really that appealing. We're currently caught between Digital Journalism and Mapping. We have an fascinating idea for the mapping but are unsure how we would c...

23 October 2019 Lab 5: Composition Exercise Just finished our Lab exercise which prompted us to take several pictures around the campus, following some brief guidelines and themes.  There was techniques we given to explore and to incorporate into our pictures. While using our cameras in Manual mode we set our taking pictures. These are as follows; Leading lines Vertical lines Horizontal lines For my leading lines I decided to follow the handrail of a spiral staircase located in the courtyard of the TUDublin Campus. I took this image three separate times, centering the railing on the right, middle and left side. I chose the left as it displays direction of the staircase. My vertical lines consists of a multicoloured bench and a bike hut. I love the colors painted on this bench. I focused on the centre three vertical lines, leaving the background out of focus. I did my best to line the three silver bolts. The bike hut has timber frames which flow v...

Daily Dose Day 1 Third Week of College Semester Coming to the end of our third week in the first semester of our first year in Technological university Blanchardstown (TUDublin). Settling in just fine, meeting a lot of new exciting people that share similar future goals and mindset. The campus is bigger and better than I expected with modern facilities for students to use such as the Gym which I am extremely pleased with. Saving me 40 euro a month.    Currently in my first Lab of Introduction to Digital Media . We are completing tasks to set up our future blog where we will be updating our missions and work throughout the year and documenting our progress of our projects. We were greeted with MAC 's which I have very little experience in using but am excited to learn. The interface is not what I'm used to as I have been using windows for the last 12+ years but there are many similarities so picking it up shouldn't be a problem.
