My product that I will be photography and developing an advertisement for Orchard Thieves Cider.
I was heavily inspired by the global Jameson Ginger and Lime campaign to promote Jameson Whiskey. I work as a barman and was instantly drawn to the advertisement when I first saw it. The drinks looks incredibly appealing when prepared properly. Below I have added one of their advertisement videos which blew me away.

With the use of photoshop, I could also create a poster like this below.

Absole voka also have some inspiring advertisements. I love the color they use to associate with the fruit flavour the vodka is. It's bright and noticeable. 

Since cider is associated with Apples and natural ingredients. I plan to incorporate that into my image. I may add leaves around the image to emphasize that.

I have drawn up some quick sketches on how I plan to execute this and how I want the subject to be displayed.
 

What: The product I am photography will be a bottle of Orchard thieves cider along with an Apple and a filled glass of cider and ice.

Who: Orchard thieves is a very popular drink among people between 18 - 40 it's refreshing and would be most popular during a sunny day. I will be shooting to replicate that natural sunlight and add some yellow/orange bright tones to the image. The glass used is a tall pint glass often filled to the brim with Ice which I also plan to incorporate.

Where: I would expect to see such an advertisement in Pubs. TV screens, Posters along the wall, banners outside the pub, drinks menu.

How: I will be using a yellow toned light to give a bright, sunlight effect. I will be photographing it on a matte black table.

Props: Bottle cider, apple, white place, Ice, Glass, Leaves

Daily Dose Day 1 Third Week of College Semester Coming to the end of our third week in the first semester of our first year in Technological university Blanchardstown (TUDublin). Settling in just fine, meeting a lot of new exciting people that share similar future goals and mindset. The campus is bigger and better than I expected with modern facilities for students to use such as the Gym which I am extremely pleased with. Saving me 40 euro a month.    Currently in my first Lab of Introduction to Digital Media . We are completing tasks to set up our future blog where we will be updating our missions and work throughout the year and documenting our progress of our projects. We were greeted with MAC 's which I have very little experience in using but am excited to learn. The interface is not what I'm used to as I have been using windows for the last 12+ years but there are many similarities so picking it up shouldn't be a problem.

DAILY DOSE (Youtube edition) 1 7, October, 2019 We've recieved our new project for out Introduction to Digital Media module. After recently completing our previous project we must form groups of three with people you have not yet grouped with. My new group consists of Francis and Eamon. Both have editing experience which I'm happy with. I plan to design the artwork for the project. We have decided to create a Youtube channel and video. I will be creating the Banner, thumbnail and logo. 25, October, 2019 We have brainstormed some ideas but are not yet set. It's between behind the scenes, interviews, short documentaries and talkshows. 5, November, 2019 After the break we have decided on a theme for the video. We will be creating a parody of the Late late show and will be naming it "The Early Early Show". We will soon begin researching talk shows.
